THE BUCK STOPS HERE
|
My real name is Greg, but everyone calls me "Gig".
I am a daytrader. I like to trade stocks and stock deer.
Successful daytrading and deer hunting share
many common traits as stated below:
- Both require incredible patience.
- Both can be very frustrating at times.
- Homework is required of both. With deer hunting,
this means getting out and doing scouting before opening day.
- Most of the time you are sitting and watching.
- Any little mistake, and you're screwed.
- You have to wait, wait, wait, for the exact
right moment to pull the trigger.
- In stocks you must take many small losses...in
deer hunting, you must endure many days without seeing deer or
getting off a shot.
- Big "kill" days like I had with
the buck shown on the left occur rarely...same way with stocks...don't
go for it, instead go for base hits.
