HOW TO CURE THAT NAGGING TOENAIL FUNGUS

I have had toenail fungus for over 20 years and athletes foot fungus
for longer than that. My whole family is susceptible to toenail fungus
for some reason, and we have been battling it for a long time. You
could say that there is fungus among us.

I was on the pill some years ago, and it worked, but the
fungus always came back, plus the pills aren't the greatest thing
in the world for your liver. I mean, when the doctor says that
you have to get a blood test before you take them to see if your
liver can handle it, tells me something. The pills are expensive to boot.
Talk about an expensive temporary fix!

My big right toenail was nearly ready to literally fall off and things
were looking real bleak in May of 2002. Then I read in one of those
newsgroups about using white distilled vinegar to get rid of it. It
made sense to me so I started using it.

I bought white distilled vinegar from Sams in a 2 gallon box set for
about $2.39. I then bought a plastic shoe box from Lowe's and began
soaking both feet in vinegar for 5 minutes in the morning and then
again for 5 minutes in the evening. I cut the nails back as far as I
could and then would use my fingernails to work the vinegar under the
nail to make sure the fungus was seeing full contact with the vinegar.

After about 3 weeks, I noticed new growth starting and the fungus was
in retreat. All traces of athletes foot were also disappeared. This was
encouraging. After six months of treatment, the nails were almost
completely grown back in with no fungus. I continue with the vinegar
treatment once a day now for 5 minutes and probably will for a long
time. I don't want that stuff back and its cheap enough to use.

I reuse the vinegar for about 2 weeks, then I change out and start
with fresh vinegar. All I can say is that it works, its cheap and its
plentiful. I wish I had known about this years ago.
